
Shayne Tomlinson - Head U6 / U8 Instructor
Shayne Tomlinson brings with him over 12yrs of playing professional hockey. After retiring from hockey Shayne became an Assistant coach with the Little Caesars AAA program for 5 years. In 2007 Shayne began giving back to hockey and became a head instructor for PHMHA. Shayne brings over 25 years of hockey school instruction, 20 of those years as head instructor.
James Blake - LTS / U6 / U8 Coordinator
James Blake has spent several years coaching players from the U6/U8 level all the way up to High School. James is in charge of assisting the LTS instructor with moving skaters onto the U6/ U8 program. James also oversees the U6/U8 program ensuring that skaters are developing their skills. James has been instrumental in finding those players that excel in these programs and moving them onto our travel program and developing the travel teams for each birth year.
Ange Guzzo - Assistant U6 / U8 Instructor
Ange comes with over five years of playing professional hockey. After retiring from hockey Ange began his coaching career coaching in the NAHL for then the Detroit Freeze. Then moving to the Blue Water area in the mid 1990’s he became the Head Coach of the Marysville High School Hockey team.
Ange then became involved as a Manager at Glacier Pointe Ice Complex while still coaching several youth hockey teams. Since that time Ange has been involved in numerous clinics and skating programs and has a great way with keeping players engaged. PHMHA is ecstatic to have Ange assisting with our U6/U8 program.
Tina Ciraulo - House Skills Clinics
Strength & Conditioning Coach
PHMHA is excited to have Tina Ciraulo on staff again this year. Tina brings excitement and intensity when she is running a clinic or helping teams with Off-Ice workouts. Tina began her hockey career at the age of 7 playing with the boys until Midget. During that time she was a member of the 1999 /2000 Belle Tire National Championship team. Tina was then offered a Division 1 full Scholarship at St Cloud State University. Tina then played professional hockey in Switzerland.
Tina became involved in coaching with girls' travel teams in the Belle Tire, Honeybaked, and Little Caesar's associations at multiple age levels. Tina helped dozens of players work their way to 01 and 03 college hockey teams. Tina also coached the first U.S. girls team in the PeeWee Quebec tournament.
Tina also spent several years with '03 Belle Tire where they attended the Quebec International PeeWee Tournament champions going back-to-back to-back State champions. Several players Ended up playing for the U17-U18 National development teams and several players were drafted in the 2021 NHL draft.
Tina spent 4+ years with '98 Honeybaked were several players ended up playing for the U17-U18 National development teams. Followed by 6+ years with Little Caesars Midget Majors that went back-to-back State Champs.
Tina spent 11+ years coaching and training Worlds Selects hockey players, 7-time world selects champion
Rich Sadlowski - Developmental Goalie Coach
PHMHA is very excited to have our first Developmental Goalie Coach for our association. Rich will be available to all House and Travel teams wanting to give their goalies that extra edge. Rich is a Goalie coach with a proven track record of helping athletes to perform at their highest level of potential in the game of hockey. Being a Collegiate Goaltender, Rich brings first-hand experience in excelling as an athlete. With this experience, he is able to help athletes adept in helping athletes to enhance their performance skills, game techniques, and endurance.
Rich is able to provide and create specific drills for individual goalies based on their needs. Rich also evaluates game videos to better understand areas of strength and weakness. To allow goalies to strive for their goals Rich believes that maintaining communication with parents and goalies is very important.
