Hello to all current and past members of PHMHA! We are looking to build our list of volunteers for the upcoming Port Huron Silver Stick tournaments for years to come. The tournament has grown to 6 weekends and we are always in need of volunteers. If you have been away from the rink for a few years, and want to fulfill that need to get back into it, this is a great opportunity! Please complete the interest form below to be added to our list and we will contact you once we have the volunteer schedule rolled out. Next season, we will plan to have the schedule rolled out 3-4 weeks in advance.
The Silver Stick tournament is Port Huron Minor Hockey Association's biggest annual event and fundraiser. Port Huron has played host to this prestigious tournament since 1963. The Port Huron Silver Stick Regional Tournament takes place in November and December and the Port Huron Silver Stick Finals takes place in January. Every year, more than 180 teams over six weekends, from both Canada and the U.S, and as far away as Alaska travel to Port Huron to play in the tournament.
Volunteers play an integral part in the continued success of running the Silver Stick tournament. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer interest form below, by clicking on the Silver Stick logo. As the tournament nears, we will contact you with available openings to choose from.
